Cancellation/No Show policy at Heart Health Specialist Centre

We understand that situations may arise when it is necessary to cancel your appointment. Accordingly, we request that you provide at least 24-hour notice of cancellation (full working day). This will enable us to offer that time slot to other patients who need to be seen. Appointments with our specialists are in high demand, and your timely cancellation will give another person access to medical care.

We request a minimum of 24 hours notice to change or cancel an appointment. If you provide less and we are unable to fill your appointment, our policy is that your specialist may apply a cancellation/no show fee equivalent to fees listed as per the Australian Medical Association Schedule.

Please note that if you simply do not show up to your appointment, you may be subject to a No Show fee and we may request pre-payment of future appointments. Bulk billing will no longer be available.

Patients who do not show, No Show, for two or more appointments in a 12-month period may be dismissed from the practice.
